Dr. Hayden Kho has patched up his differences with ex-girlfriend Dr. Vicky Belo's children.

According to Vicky, the process was not easy for her, for her children and for Hayden.

"I'm sure, [Hayden] will understand if they're [Belo’s children] having a hard time [but] in fairness naman, everybody deserves a second chance," Vicky said in an interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Nov. 2.

It can be recalled that Vicky's daughter, Crystalle, and son, Quark Henares, distanced themselves from Hayden after his controversial sex video surfaced.

"Nakaka-trauma rin ang nangyari pero we're getting there [fixing the relationship]," Vicky said.

Vicky's children and Hayden were able to have a talk after they spearheaded a relief operation in behalf of the Belo Medical Group, and when Crystalle accompanied her mom, who went with Hayden, to Batangas to attend a mass.

Commenting on the reconciliation, Atom Henares, father of Crystalle and Quark, attests to Vicky having a "forgiving heart."

"She really has a big heart. She forgives very easily," Atom said.

If anything, the scandal allowed for Vicky to be closer to her kids, as Quark himself admitted.

"We became stronger and closer as a family," Quark said.

The Department of Justice recently indicted Kho for violating R.A. 9262 or the Violence Against Women and Children Law, while Vicky, Princess Velasco, Dr. Eric Johnston Chua and Mark Herbert Rosario were cleared of involvement in the case.
