Games on Friday
2 p.m. — CSB vs ADMU
4 p.m. — Lyceum vs SSC-R

Defending champion San Sebastian College tries to bury the memory of a stinging defeat while Ateneo seeks its third win as both teams try to bolster their quarterfinal bids against separate rivals this Friday in the second conference of the sixth Shakey’s V-League at The Arena in San Juan.

The SSC spikers are coming off a five-set loss against Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws while the Lady Eagles are out to follow-up their four-set triumph over the Lyceum Lady Pirates last Tuesday.

Despite the setback, reigning five-time NCAA champion SSC remains in the thick of the quarterfinal race and is picked to prevail opposite the winless Lyceum side in their 4 p.m. showdown in the tournament sponsored by Shakey’s Pizza.

Ateneo, however, is expected to encounter rough sailing in its 2 p.m. match against College of St. Benilde, which is also out to boost its own quarterfinal drive in the league organized by Sports Vision.
