Comedian MV for senator MV
Ask GMA-7’s prized comedian Michael V whom he’ll vote for president next year and he’ll hold up a hand sign of a check mark.
This is what the comedian gestured to Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online at a recent press conference when talks gravitated toward the 2010 elections.
“I will endorse Manny Villar,” he said. “Nakaka-identify ako with him, both sa sipag at tyaga na. Noon pa man ay natutuwa na ako sa mga steps na ginagawa niya.”
Michael V said he had chosen to support Sen. Villar even without being asked. He also doesn’t mind if ABS-CBN’s prized TV host, funny man Willie Revillame is already heavily identified with Sen. Villar.
“Hindi naman ako pumipili ng kandidato dahil sa gusto siya ni ganito o ganyan. Ang mahalaga sa akin ay ‘yung plataporma ng kandidato. Pagdating dyan, kay Villar ako naniniwala,” said Michael V.
Apart from Sen. Villar, there are things that Michael V endorses which seem to be founded on the same hard work and perseverance ethics.
One of these is Gerry’s Grill owned by Gerry Apolinario. From the first Gerry’s Grill restaurant located along Tomas Morato in Quezon City, Gerry has turned his business into a staggering 44-branch (two of which are in the U.S.) enterprise.
Recently, Gerry’s Grill has held two Circle of Friends parties. The first one was in Tomas Morato and the second was at the Gerry’s Grill Banawe branch. The next Gerry’s Grill Circle of Friends Party will be held at the branch along Emerald Ave, Pasig City on Oct. 26.
According to a Gerry’s Grill press release, their restaurants have a wide array of foods ranging from grilled seafood and Filipino favorites, to exotic cuisine and tastefully prepared beermates and pica-pica that customers can enjoy at their branches with fun and wholesome ambience.
