Actress-host Rica Peralejo confirmed on her morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda” on Friday that she got engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Joseph Bonifacio.

She revealed that Bonifacio proposed to her on the celebration of their 10th month as a couple.

In a past interview with the Manila Bulletin, she admitted of having a non-showbiz boyfriend who she didn’t reveal yet at that time but said that she’s very happy with. “Hindi pa naman [kami] ganun katagal pero basta I’m very happy,” she added.

Peralejo also said in the same interview that given the right man – a man of God, she would love to settle down.

Bonifacio is one of the pastors of the Victory Christian Fellowship where they met each other being members.

Peralejo started her acting career at an early age through “Ang TV.” She starred in sexy films such as “Balahibong Pusa,” “Banyo Queen” and “Tatarin.”
