The models show off the bridal collection.

Following the huge success of the Metrowear fashion show held last week, Lulu Tan Gan must be walking on air. Presented at the NBC Tent, the collection was exciting, classic in design and most of all, wearable. 
Lulu has earned for herself the title: Metrowear Icon.  Her name has been synonymous to knitted wear for more than two decades now, and before the event, the fashion diva couldn’t contain her excitement over her new bridal line.  The clothes were chic and versatile as it is doable as a formal gown. 
The Samsung Metrowear Series is now on its seventh year. Directed by Robby Carmona, the models paraded the 50-piece collection down the S-shaped ramp, as some of them struck a pose, gliding from one end of the stage to the other end, via a moving walk conveyor. 
Manila’s fashionistas and social set came in full force to celebrate the success of this designing icon as well as Metro magazine’s milestone 20th Anniversary.

Seen together were Stella Araneta  and Betsy Westendorp. Had a good chat with Evelyn Lim Forbes, Isabel Wilson … Afterwards, hopped straight to Jojie Lloren’s fashion happening at Rustan’s 2nd floor, with guests Nedy Tantoco,  DJ Lopez,  Mario Katigbak, Peter Jentes, Catherine Huang, looking so chic...  Bambi Harper’s  Farewell Dinner of the International Conference on the Galleon and the Making of the Pacific held at the Coconut Palace… Brilliant and witty Glen Gale’s birthday dinner at Dusit Thani’s Umu, where the cod fish is divine… and not to be outdone was the birthday dinner  of  haute couture designer Ito Curata, with Bob Miller, who led us straight to the caviar table.
