KOTA KINABALU, Malaysia — Subic Bay Yacht Club-based sailing team Selma Star/ C! Calibre Magazine captured its third straight championship to complete a three-peat in the recent 6th Borneo International Yachting Challenge in Malaysia.

Bucking tough sailing conditions and a three-hour time handicap, the two-time defending champions topped the IRC Class in the 120-mile Miri to Labuan Passage, finished second in the Labuan to Kota Kinabalu Race before ruling three in-shore races in the Kota Kinabalu Bay in Sabah.

The RP crew quelled the fierce challenge of Sarawak-based sailboats Miri Magic and Ulumulu to dominate the event.
