26 shooters in Thai tourney
A 26-man squad of veteran and newcomers will represent the Philippines in the 2009 Southeast Asian Shooting Association (SEASA) championships set this Wednesday until November 9 in Bangkok, Thailand.
Reigning national pistol champion Nathaniel “Tac’’ Padilla and two other veterans – Emerito Concepcion and Carolino Gonzales – banner the team, which left on Tuesday.
Padilla, who is scheduled to compete for a record 16th time in the Laos Southeast Asian Games late this year, will compete in the rapid fire, standard and center, fire pistol events while Concepcion and Gonzales will see action in the men’s air rifle and air pistol competitions, respectively.
The other shooters are: Shanin Lyn Gonzales, Michaela Nicole Padilla, Ruth Ricardo, Irish Palma, Dianne Nicole Eufemio, Venus Lovelyn Tan, Jayson Valdez, Alfonso Antonio Hermoso, Edwin Fernandez, Rocky Pardilla, Eddie Tomas, Frances Nicole Medina, Charisse Palma, Analou Pardilla, Ronaldo Hejastro, Robert Donalvo, Mark Manosca, Simon Karl Gonzales, Alyanna Krystle Chuatoco, Czarmainne Trajano, John Cymon Concepcion, Lorenzo Miguel Capinpin, and Marie Isabelle Eufemio.
