Razon said the medical mission, in support of the PMPC's socio-civic projects, serves as an extension of his TV program for which he is known as "Mr. Public Service." In a way, it is a fulfillment of his advocacy of serving the needs of the indigents or less fortunate through healthcare and other services.
Likewise, Razon's programs extend support to the other sectors of the entertainment industry, in a tie-up with such government agencies as Pag-Ibig and Philhealth.
Currently in the works is a subsidy for Philhealth membership for the benefit of local entertainment industry people.
Residents of Payatas and other districts of Quezon City are enjoined to participate and benefit from the free medical services to be given.
This project is undertaken by the PMPC under the administration of current president, Roldan F. Castro.
